Kate is a Chicago transplant most recently from the Bay Area of California, though her childhood was spent in Central Indiana. She is a third generation theatre artist. She first tread the boards at the young age of 7 as Thomas in Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana. She hasn’t left it since.
Kate received her MFA in Classical Acting from Illinois State University under the direction of Henry Woronicz. Her BA in Theatre is from California State University East Bay (formerly Hayward) where she focused on Musical Theatre under the direction of Darryl V. Jones and Marc Jacobs.
Kate is a member of the Society of American Fight Directors, and an Equity Membership Candidate with Actors Equity Association.
Kate is a gamer (tabletop, board games, video games), a knitter/crocheter, a musician, an avid romance and sci-fi/fantasy reader, a nailophile, and adores tea and cupcakes.
Her favorite color is rainbow.
